What to expect from the closing of the Fairo project

If you’re here, you already know that the Fairo journey will be ending soon. We invite you to read more about the reasons why here. And as sorry and as we are that this is happening, we are just as committed to offering you the best experience and customer support until the very last day.

We know that you must have a lot of questions, so please check below the most frequent ones that might be going through your mind and feel free to let us know, via chat or email, if we missed any.

For how long can I still use Fairo?

Nothing happens today, the mobile and web app can be used as usual until March 15th. After this date, the app will no longer be available for access from mobile or web. Until then, we are here to help and guide you and to answer all your questions, so please don’t hesitate to write at support.ro@fairoapp.com or directly in the app chat in case of any questions.

We encourage you, however, to save your data until the end of February, so we can be there for you in case you have questions. Please note that, between March 1-15, access to customer support services will be limited.

How can I save my data?

The easiest way to download all your issued invoices is by using the Bulk download feature available in Fairo Web. Worry not – if you have the mobile app, you can still log into Fairo web using your email address attached to your current Fairo account & by choosing a password.

However, if you prefer your mobile app, you can choose to download your issued invoices 1 by 1.

Do I need to cancel my subscription?

No, we will take care of that. All open subscriptions will receive a full refund for the last month of their subscription or for the last year (please see more details below). This process will be started automatically on our side and you don’t need to spend time on it.

So I don’t need to do anything in order to cancel and get my money back?

Nope – our main priority is to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and to make sure that you will not be charged for the months that you will not be using Fairo.

  • If you are currently subscribed for a monthly plan, you can continue to use the app until your subscription becomes inactive (March 15th). In the meantime, we will cancel your subscription, in order to avoid further charges for the last month of payment. In other words, you will not be charged at your next payment due date in February. This will not affect your ability to keep using the app until March 15th. . 
  • If you are currently subscribed to the yearly plan, the same applies: you will be able to use the app until March 15th, and in the meantime we will cancel your plan and fully refund the yearly fee that has not been fully used (yes, even if you will still be using the app in March).
  • If you are using the subscription because you received a promotional code from Fairo Club, you will be able to use the app until March 15th, but no refund will be processed, since no money was withdrawn from your credit card. 

⚠️ Important note: if you are an iOS user who subscribed to the mobile app through App Store, please note that the payment stopping and refund processes are happening through App Store and are depending on their terms and conditions. If you have any issues with your payment cancellation or refund, please write to us at support.ro@fairoapp.com and we will help you go through the process.

And overall, we kindly ask you to be patient, as the refund processing might take some time. We expect your money to arrive until 29.02 the latest, but if you still haven’t received your refund until then, drop us a line at  support.ro@fairoapp.com
